bluebear_74Ok so I've now I've had some time to process my thoughts.
Things I didn't like
• The baby thing at first seemed I dunno not Twilight? That being said when we got to book 3 I didn't mind as much any more and it grew on me.
• That god awful name! I couldn't help but cringe every single time. I'm glad Bella started calling her Nessi too at the end. Plus her reaction to Jacob calling her that was amusing.
• Rosalie just annoyed me with how she really didn't care what happened to Bella. Kind of wish Edward ripped her arm off once or twice, well at least Jacob got food in her hair when he threw his dog bowl at her.
• Predictable in parts (ie once Bella started getting sick and eating lots I knew she was pregnant (too much fanfic reading?), and Jacob imprinting on Nessi once I found out the baby was a girl, and Bella's power)
Things I liked
• I liked we got the Wedding almost right away, though things leading up to it was a bit boring.
• We got a honey moon, and the whole sex thing didn't dragged out. I liked that it wasn't prefect the first time.
• Also glad she actually became a vampire finally, and had powers (which I had predicted).
• Jacob imprinted on Nessi (which I predicted once I accident spoiled myself that it was a girl). Meant we wouldn't have to get love-sick Jacob over Bella any more, and this way they could still be close. Plus their kind cute, and Nessi biting Jacob is adorable.
• Book III gained my trust again, book I and II left me a little o_O it just seemed strange and that I wasn't reading Twilight.
• Less predictable than the other books, there where things I didn't see coming (ie Alice coming back).
• Getting to know more vampires and about them.
• Kate got herself a man, wish Tanya did too.
Overall
I liked the book (book III more than I and II). The whole Renesmee thing took awhile to get use too, I think because nobody saw it coming and had time to get use to it (hence why by book III I didn't mind any more). Edward seemed less dazzle in this one, maybe because Bella became a vampire and he seemed more normal to her now. I'm sad it's all over, I wish there were more but I can understand that Smeyer didn't want to drag the story out.
Also I think I'm crazy, I hope I don't regret it. My bank account has never been sadder.
