Of True Blood, Heroes, and House
OK I got around to watching True Blood (I lost interest once I watched Eric's scenes via YouTube). So lets get to the important stuff first, Eric's scenes. OH GOD ERIC IN A BATHTUB WITH A WELL PLACED HAND COVERING HIS GRACIOUS PLENTY!! I love that he just took a nice soak in Bill's tub, it said "I'm you're boss, I can do what I like including using your bath whenever I want since I can't have Sookie I'll have your bath tub. I love that Eric text messages, and laughed at Bill's "I hate using the number keys to type" (so do I Bill, so do I) in reply to why he didn't reply to Eric's texts. Also why is Bill commenting on what Eric is listing too? If I recall Bill you have some very... different music tastes, at lest Eric's sounded pretty and made sense because it was old Swedish. Now off to Fangtasia. I love how you can tell right away Eric is the boss, and how hot he looks in jeans and a wife beater. I also loved his smirk when he agrees to Sookie's deal.I enjoyed the "He's not saying anything" "Don't be coy" exchange. I can't help but laugh every time I hear Long Shadow say "You trust the skinny one to clear the fat one?".
I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get Sookie reading/flashing on Eric mind like we did in the books. Those who haven't read the books, Sookie flashes on Eric thoughts when he's deciding on her proposal (that the parties involved get turned in to the police and are unharmed). She explains that it'd be better in future if she were willing, and they could have good faith in each other, and while he thinks about it she gets into his thoughts and as he thinks about how he could get her to do want he wanted by just threatening Bill or a human she loved. Then decides against it because he wants to mainstream and keep everything legal, and doesn't want to kill anyone he doesn't have to.
Anyway onto the rest of the episode. I feel sorry for Eddie, Layfette is clearly using him for V. I also feel bad for Hoyt who was being nice to Tara, telling her she looked nice and then she snapped at him (PS I think Tara does have a demon, that or she's bipolar). Still loving Terry, I loved when Sam told him to not tell girls about the two prong possum penis he keeps on a chain around his neck because girls might get the wrong idea. Oh and the kind of awkward exchange with Arlene about baby sitting her kids. I liked Amy till she became a total psycho. Oh and the dirt sex? Umm all I could think of during the scene is "Eww", "Ouch", and "Isn't she getting dirt up in her cookie?". Sam's reaction to Bill being alive was prefect. Sookie was all "SQUEE" and Sam was all "Great :( >_>".
Also has anyone seen the two new awesome promos? One is for next week, and the other the week's ahead. I'm excited about next week, I wonder why Eric is at Merlotte's. Eric, Pam, and Chow seem to be handing our flyers, maybe missing posters for Eddie? The only other reasons I can think of to why their there is about the tacky trio, but I don't get the feeling Eric doesn't cares about them, or maybe he's there helping Sookie find the killer (since he's already there taking Bill away for the trial). The week's ahead promo makes me really excited about the rest of the season. Squee Eric commenting on Bill loving Sookie, and what Bill sees in humans (which I guess is from next week's episode judging from what their wearing).
After last week I wasn't excited at all about this week's Heroes, I even watched Gossip Girl, Chuck, and two episode of No Heroics (♥), and even a listenedHamish and Andy podcast. The show has become predictable, I just know when I character isn't really dead because they never seem to want to let them (the main cast) go no matter how unliked they are, or their story is getting no where and no one is interested. Instead character's that have lots of potential are killed off because they aren't part of the main cast. Oh and I'm still not feeling this season of House, we're even getting it practically the same day as the US, but I can't bring myself to care. I want the old team back.
