Another Year Older

bluebear_74YAY! My birthday today and also a new layout (on my site) featuring Sark, shocking I know. The layout Ben made me was great but I haven’t made myself a layout for months because of school, but now its holidays so it’s was on the top of my to-do list.
My day started off pretty good today, got woken up at about 9AM by my friend who sent me a happy birthday message, and then I went back to bed. The rest of the day was spent working on the layout and chatting to people who wished me a happy birthday over MSN and the forums I visit. I got $100 off my mum and we went out for dinner which my dad paid for, and my brother didn’t get me anything… unless you count the burger he brought for me before heading off to Uni. After dinner we went home so we could have my yummy ice cream cake that my mum brought me, I was thinking for once my birthday wasn’t horrible like other years but I spoke to soon. My dad was filming stuff with his camera and my mum was speaking and walking around which got to my dad so he told he to stay out of the way, which then upset my mum and began to tear up (which never happens), she then walked back to their room where she stayed until my dad convinced her to come out so I could cut my cake and blow out the candles. I think this is the first year our family hasn’t taken a family photo during a birthday.
