Well after finally getting to watch Jacquou Le Cronquant, here's my thoughts. First of all I have no idea why this got bad reviews, I liked the story and there was some beautiful cinematography, and I'm not just saying that because Gaspard was in it because for the whole first half of the movie he isn't even in it. That being said we got lots of hot angsty Gaspard in this, oh and not to mention him naked! and with a beard! I'm not the only one who wanted him to end up with Galiote instead of Lina (I think that was her name). The whole childhood sweat hearts are boring. Dating the daughter of your enemy is so much hotter, plus he did save her from angry pigs when she was little. Sure he threw rocks at them first, and sure he was the one who let them out in the first place but their just small details. Plus that scene where he wrestles her to the bed is hot.

I ordered Strayed (Les Égarés) and The Last Day (Le Dernier jour) last week, I hope they get here soon. They should come around Monday, which is also my last day of freedom before Uni starts up again.
