Mum's Birthday

Went out for dinner tonight because it’s my mum's birthday. It's also really windy today and when we were at the restaurant the power went out, so they brought out candles so we could see, power came back on... only for it to turn off again. I wanted fried ice-cream too but didn't get any because they couldn't cook without the power and lights. The first time it went out we looked outside and saw all the chefs just standing outside chatting because there wasn't much they could do, poor fish were dying to.
